Order No. 164 'On approval of Technical Regulation on energy labelling of energy consumer products' was adopted on 27 April, 2022. This Regulation is modelled on Regulation (EC) No. 2017/1369 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 04 July 2017 laying down a framework for energy labelling and repealing Directive 2010/30/EU. Excluded from this Regulation are:
- used products if they are not imported from a third country;
- vehicles for passenger or freight transportation
Suppliers and distributors of energy products shall ensure that each product placed on the market is accompanied by a label containing information on the level of efficiency of energy consumption, as well as product information sheets in accordance with this Technical Regulation and adopted technical regulations on energy labelling by product type. The supplier must ensure the accuracy of the labels and product information sheets it provides and provide technical documentation sufficient to assess accuracy.
