Mexico - CRT Homologation
Demonstrate compliance with wireless regulations through our assessments and get CRT approval
The regulation ‘NOM-208-SCFI-2016’ covers e.g. WiFi-, Bluetooth-, and other short-range devices. It implements minimum specifications and limits as well as the testing methods set out in Technical Provision IFT-008-2015 of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission. Manufactures and suppliers of short-range devices on the 902-928 MHz, 2400-2483.5 MHz and 5725-5850 MHz bands are required to gain CRT approval (known as IFT approval previously) before for entering the Mexican market. TÜV Rheinland offers a full homologation service by testing, certification and handling the CRT approval. Partnering with us means short lead times and benefitting from our established working relations with local authorities. Contact our experts for a quote and receive CRT Approval for your products !
