The Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act (EECA) 2024 comes into effect on 1st January 2025. Under this Act, for the new energy using product intended to be sold in Malaysia market, manufacturers and importers shall obtain a Certificate of Efficiency (COE) and affix Energy Label to distribute energy-using products in Malaysia.
