Open the doors to Malaysia with Type Approval for Telecommunication Product
Before being used in Malaysia, all telecommunication devices must be approved by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC). Technical Codes for the testing and certification for both fixed and wireless communications equipment are in place, and deal primarily with the technical requirements for safety, frequency bands, interoperability, electromagnetic compatibility and non-interference. In situations where a Technical Specification is not available, the Compliance Approval shall be based on specified product standards (national or international standards), a technical checklist and/or -declaration.
