Motor vehicle approval for Israel based on EU- or US homologation
The Israeli Mandatory Requirements (IMR) describe the type approval procedure for motor vehicles imported to or produced in Israel. Existing EU-, US- or Canadian homologations are accepted as technical prerequisite. IMR-procedure starts with the submission of the IMR type approval "book" and, upon approval, continues with vehicle appraisal followed by the vehicle registration.
