Ensure mandatory Indonesian Energy Efficiency Label for your products
Regulation No.14, 2021 on the implementation of minimum energy performance standards for energy use equipment, issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, stipulates that manufacturers and importers of energy utilizing equipment shall prove compliance to minimum energy efficiency criteria. Minimum Energy Performance Standards (SKEM) are detailed in decrees corresponding to the regulated products. The conformity assessment procedure, besides testing, includes an energy saving certificate by an appointed Certification Body which must be registered with the Ministry of Energy to obtain the required EER Number. The procedure concludes with affixing the energy saving sign label to the equipment.

The energy saving certificate is valid for 4 years. The star rating on the energy efficiency label will be re-determined every 3 years by the competent authority. |
