Egypt regulates energy efficiency for specific household appliances. The regulated products shall comply with Egypt standards and bear the energy efficiency label to enter Egypt market.
Regulations are enforced by Decisions issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Producers and importers shall comply with the requirements stipulated in the relevant EOS standard, which describes energy classification criteria and the energy label details.
