Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) Technical Regulation on light industry products safety

Technical Regulation TR CU 017/2011 Safety on light industry products establishes requirements on a range of products such as: textile materials and products, apparel and knitted goods, covering and carpets, leather goods, footwear and fur products. The requirements for the different product categories are listed as follow: Article 5 determines the safety requirements on textile materials, products made of them, clothing, textile and haberdashery products Article 6 describes the safety requirements on footwear, leather, artificial leather and leather goods Article 7 describes the safety requirements on clothing and leather goods, fur, dressed fur skins Article 8 describes Safety requirements for coverings and products of machine-made carpets, felt, felt, non-woven materials and finished products from these materials Article 9 lists the labelling requirements for the different product categories Article 11 lists the conformity assessment procedure. Declaration of conformity or certification is needed depending on the product type. Upon successful conformity assessment, the EAC Mark shall be labelled on each product before placing on the market.
