Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) Technical Regulation on Safety of perfumes and cosmetic products
Technical Regulation TR CU 009/2011 on safety of perfumes and cosmetic products, sets requirements on: composition, physical & chemical, microbiological, toxicological & clinical indicators, as well as production, packaging and labelling for such products. While Article 5 of the Technical Regulation determines the essential safety requirements, Article 6 describes the conformity assessment procedure. Declaration of conformity is needed for most perfumes and cosmetic products. For certain list of perfumes and cosmetic products, certificate of state registration is required instead. Upon successful conformity assessment, the EAC Mark shall be labelled with on each product unit before placing on the market.
