The SEC Approval is available via three optional certification schemes (based on the ISO/IEC 17067 standard): • System 1: Type testing + follow up of each importation lot. • System 2: Type Testing + Factory Inspection + Surveillance • System 6: Recognition of Foreign Certificate (per each importation lot) Please contact TÜV Rheinland to confirm the most suitable scheme for your product certification according to your needs. The SEC QR Code is the mandatory Chilean mark to be used and labeled on certified products. TÜV Rheinland is authorized by SEC to certify different lines of products such as household appliances, audio and video, IT equipment, power tools, and lighting manufactured locally or abroad, and is the only company in the country with their own global laboratory network.
