Argentina Safety Approval
Bring safety compliant products to markets around the world, including Argentina
The government of Argentina requires certain products to comply with local standards and regulations. Electric and electronic products must comply with IRAM and/or IEC safety standards. Toy and childcare products have to fulfill essential safety requirements (physical, mechanical, chemical, fire resistance, electrical), and have to include warnings and indications of usage. Printed graphic products including labels and cartoon boxes must be tested and certified for levels of toxic chemicals. Non-rechargeable batteries must fulfil efficiency and safety requirements and have to be tested and certified. Steel for construction and Aluminum Bars and Profiles also must comply to specific safety standards. TÜV Rheinland is recognized by the Argentine government and/or accredited by the Argentine Accreditation Body (OAA) to issue safety certificates for regulated products.
