Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Integration Architect with strong cross-platform integration capabilities to lead the architecture, design, and delivery of complex integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP landscapes. This role demands deep technical knowledge across multiple integration tools, a strategic mindset for solution architecture, and a strong understanding of hybrid enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement end-to-end integration strategies across cloud and on-premise applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Define integration of architecture frameworks and reusable patterns that align with enterprise IT standards and business goals.
  • Lead integration projects involving both SAP (S/4HANA, SAP BTP, ABAP Cloud) and non-SAP systems (Salesforce, Workday, etc.).
  • Select appropriate tools and technologies (CPI, PI/PO, MuleSoft, etc.) based on integration scenario, security needs, and SLAs.
  • Develop integration flows using: SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration / CPI), SAP Process Orchestration (PI/PO),SAP Event Mesh & API Management
  • Architect and govern secure, reliable, and reusable APIs (REST/OData/SOAP) and event-driven interfaces.
  • Integrate with ABAP Cloud using RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model), CDS Views, and BTP destinations.
  • System knowledge of SAP BI/BW, SAP SD, MM, FICO.
  • Technology knowledge of SAP Ariba.
  • Knowledge and experience of SAP Peppol, Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC), Country based E-invoice process.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise integration standards for logging, monitoring, error handling, and security (OAuth2, SAML, SSL/TLS).
  • Lead and mentor development teams; review design artifacts and provide quality assurance for deliverables.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, functional consultants, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into integration architecture.
  • Ensure adherence to the HSE roles, responsibilities & accountabilities as defined in MS-0047700-HSE Roles Responsibilities & Authorities
  • Comply and ensure implementation of the company’s and the customer’s Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Process requirements.

Experience & Further Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise application integration, with at least 5 years in SAP ecosystem.
  • Proven expertise in: SAP Integration Suite (CPI), SAP BTP (including Event Mesh, API Management),ABAP Cloud (RAP, OData, CDS)
  • Proficiency in integration standards and protocols: IDoc, RFC, SOAP, REST, OData, SFTP, EDI, AS2.
  • Strong scripting and transformation skills (Groovy, JavaScript, XSLT, XML/JSON).
  • Understanding of event-driven architectures, microservices, and B2B integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, monitoring, logging, and DevOps pipelines.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Expertise in JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint etc.
