TÜV Rheinland is investing in the Italian laboratories to improve our capability and offer new services to our customers. If you are a senior SAF Laboratory Technician, experienced in testing of electrical devices according to technical standards, and you would like to take part to a fast-growing company, take a look at this opportunity!

Job Description

  • Perform the tests according to technical standard.
  • Manage the assigned projects in collaboration with the Laboratory Manager.
  • Share the tests’ results with the customer.
  • Draft and issue the test report.
  • Ensure the proper use of the tools, in agreement with the existing procedures and instructions.
  • Register and file the raw data and is responsible for their proper elaboration.
  • Support and train the junior technicians.
  • Take part of the internal/3rd part audit

Skills and requirements

  • Familiarity with the testing instruments.
  • Knowledge of UL technical standards for the electrical safety.
  • Experience in testing according to one or more the following standard: UL 1082, UL 197, UL 1081, UL 778, UL 471, UL 563, UL 751, UL 541, UL 858.
  • Technical diploma or Engineering Degree.
  • 6+ years of experience in the field or in a Laboratory.
  • Good command of English (B2).
  • Excellent command of Italian.
