TÜV Rheinland is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Inspection Coordinator - Surveyor to join our team of trusted professionals. Job Description

  • Conduct detailed inspections and surveys of marine vessels, cargo, and related equipment based on contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform pre-loading, discharge, and on/off-hire surveys to verify compliance, documentation, and operational processes.
  • Inspect and evaluate compliance with safety standards, quality measures, and technical specifications.
  • Coordinate inspections in Turkey and Europe Region.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific inspection requirements and timelines.
  • Work collaboratively with other Surveyors and professionals to ensure that all inspections and assessments are conducted efficiently and effectively.
  • Co-ordinate with suppliers and Subcontracted Inspector when necessary for Inspection activities.
  • Prepare detailed, accurate inspection reports, including findings.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of inspections and assessments.
  • Responsible for Daily update to client & Preparation of Final report.
  • Prepare Service offer
  • Communicate with Client, respond inquiries and make clarifications.

Experience & Further Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Equivalent experience may also be considered.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in inspection, surveying, or similar roles in the Testing, Inspection and Certification sector.
  • Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • Experience conducting various types of marine surveys (e.g., on/off-hire, cargo, hull, condition) is essential.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in preparing detailed technical reports and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Willingness to travel to various sites,
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and other relevant software.
