Auditing According to EICC

Auditing According to EICC

Social Labor Conditions in the Electronics Industry

As a supplier to the electronics industry, the EICC (Electronic Industry Code of Conduct) offers you a distinct advantage over the competition. Leading manufacturers are already beginning to demand that their suppliers make a voluntary commitment to the EICC. By gaining accreditation, you can support fair working conditions, comprehensive labor protection, and environmentally friendly manufacturing processes. This will show that your company abides by the principles of corporate social responsibility, or CSR.

Benefits at a Glance

An EICC audit by TÜV Rheinland enables you to:

  • Improve your image in the eyes of customers, partners, and the public
  • Demonstrate that you take community responsibility seriously
  • Prove your advocacy of sustainable improvement in production requirements for your branch's supply chain
  • Instigate important new ideas within your branch
  • Consolidate your market position

Four Steps to Fair Working Conditions

1. Preliminary audit

The auditors conduct a preliminary audit to determine whether any requirements associated with this standard have already been implemented in your company and, if so, which ones.

2. Examination of documentation

The auditing team determines the extent to which documentation of your social standards concurs with the requirements of the EICC.

3. Audit

Our auditors monitor your company's practical application of its social standards to ascertain its effectiveness.

4. Revision audit

The revision audit is carried out every three years and supports you in continued optimization of your procedures.

  • Free selection of labor
