Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. E.h. Dr. h.c. Dieter Spath has been President and CEO of TÜV Rheinland Berlin Brandenburg Pfalz e.V. since July 1, 2021. He is also a member of the Supervisory Board and the Personnel Committee of TÜV Rheinland AG. Professor Spath (born 1952) was President of acatech - the German Academy of Science and Engineering - until March 2021. In addition to his scientific career, Professor Spath has sustained practical industrial experience. In the years from 2013 to 2016, he was Chairman of the Executive Board of Wittenstein SE.
