    Foundation Board

    The TÜV Rheinland Foundation is managed by a Foundation Board and represented in and out of court by its Chairman. The Board ensures compliance with legal regulations and decides annually on the use of the income from the foundation's assets.

    Board of Trustees

    The Board of Trustees supports the work of the Foundation's Executive Board. It also proposes general focal points for the Foundation's work and decides every three years on suitable candidates for the International TÜV Rheinland Global Compact Award. The current Board of Trustees is made up of the following personalities:

    • Dr. Patrick Adenauer, Chairman of the Board, Managing Partner, Bauwens GmbH & Co. KG, Cologne
    • Dr. Hermann H. Hollmann (Chairman of the Board of Trustees), former member of the Executive Board of Ford-Werke GmbH
    • Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Reinhard F. Hüttl, Wissenschaftlicher Direktor und Geschäftsführer, EEI European Energy Innovation GmbH
    • Angela Spizig, former Mayor of the City of Cologne
    • Bruno Wenn, former spokesman for the management of DEG-Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft mbH
    • Thomas Wolkenstörfer, Chairman of the Works Council of the TÜV Rheinland AG, Nuremberg
    • Jürgen Zurheide, freelance journalist
