TÜV Rheinland Italia operability in the continuation of the Coronavirus emergency

The company is organized to protect the health and safety of employees, customers and suppliers without impacting the needs related to customer orders.
All the offices are open but the presence of technicians is reduced to the bare minimum.
Staff who are able to work in Smart Working mode work from home. Any difference in service delivery is expected for customers.
All staff can be reached by customers and suppliers either by phone (using the same number) or by e-mail.
Courier or postal management is regular (from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm).
The operation of our laboratories is regular and guaranteed for all orders.
Shift work mode has been extended in the laboratory and a partial Smart Working has been adopted also for laboratory technicians (e.g. with reference to report drafting).
Samples are regularly received/shipped (from Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm).
The presence of customers during the execution of the tests is allowed in compliance with the measures envisaged (questionnaire on the state of health / risk profile, temperature measurement, use of face mask, distancing, hand and environmental hygiene). Where technically feasible, physical attendance is replaced with appropriate remote communication and supervision techniques.
Off-site operation for projects in Italy
The off-site operation of our technicians, inspectors and auditors in Italy is regular and is guaranteed for all sites.
In order to protect the health and safety of the parties involved, the existence of suitable measures equivalent to the provisions of TÜV Rheinland for visitors to its offices will be systematically verified for off-site activities.
In addition, our experts are active through audits and remote inspections both voluntary and mandatory, both accredited and non-accredited, in line with the technical requirements of the competent authorities. These activities are appropriate to guarantee the business continuity of customers, while offering maximum safety to the people involved.
Off-site operation for projects abroad
The company is operational in carrying out inspections and audits abroad with local personnel, to the extent that these activities are admitted to the country where the service is to be provided, subject to the appropriate checks to ascertain the existence of suitable security measures.
Where this is not allowed, remote equivalent activities are constantly evaluated.
Foreign transfers of Italian personnel are currently not possible.
All our sales clerks are operational and reachable.
Face-to-face meetings (both those at customer sites and those at TÜV Rheinland locations) are possible in compliance with specific security measures to protect all the participants in the meetings.
For meetings at its offices, TÜV Rheinland provides various measures (questionnaire on health / risk profile, temperature measurement, use of face mask, distancing, hand and environmental hygiene) and expects equivalent measures to be taken by companies that must accommodate us.
However, the possibility of replacing face-to-face meetings with remote meetings is systematically verified.
