TÜV Rheinland Italia operability in the continuation of the Coronavirus emergency

Following the epidemiological evolution from Covid-19 (Coronavirus) and the recent provisions dictated both locally and nationally for the adoption of containment and emergency management measures, TÜV Rheinland Italia has adopted a series of safety measures and protocols aimed at containing and mitigating the risk of contagion.

Office operability

All the activities normally carried out by our office staff are currently carried out in Smart Working mode from home. No difference in the provision of the service is expected for customers.

All staff can be reached by customers and suppliers using the same telephone numbers and by email.

The management of couriers or postal services must be agreed in advance by contacting your contact person or, alternatively, the number +39 02.9396871.

Laboratories operability

The presence of our staff in our laboratories is currently changed.

Shift work mode has been extended, and partial Smart Working has also been adopted for laboratory technicians (for example with reference to the preparation of reports).

The operation of the laboratories is guaranteed for customers operating in the essential sectors defined by the DPCM (Prime Minister Decree) of March 22nd, 2020.

The reception / shipment of the samples is carried out only in a few days: customers are asked to contact their company reference to coordinate everything.

The presence of customers during the execution of the tests is prohibited except for detailed exceptions. Where technically possible, this presence is replaced with suitable remote communication and supervision techniques.

Off-site operability for projects in Italy

The company has reduced its off-site inspection and audit activities in Italy.

Our experts are active through audits and remote inspections in both voluntary and mandatory, both accredited and non-accredited, in line with the technical requirements of the competent authorities. These activities are suitable for ensuring the business continuity of customers, while offering the maximum safety of the people involved.

On-site operations are however guaranteed for customers operating in the essential sectors defined by the DPCM of March 22nd, 2020, if they cannot be replaced with equivalent remote activities and subject to the appropriate checks aimed at ascertaining the existence of suitable safety measures.

Off-site operability for projects abroad

The company operates in carrying out inspection and audit activities outside the office abroad with local staff, to the extent that this is allowed in the country where the service is to be provided, subject to the appropriate checks aimed at ascertaining the existence of suitable security measures.

Where this is not allowed, alternatively remote equivalent activities are constantly evaluated.

Transfers of Italian personnel abroad are not currently possible.

Commercial activities

All our sales clerks are operational and reachable.

At the moment the meetings (both those at the customers' locations and those at the TÜV Rheinland offices) are suspended and systematically replaced with remote meetings.

TÜV Rheinland Italia constantly follows the evolution of the health emergency and the related legislative activity, directly in Italy and, through the TÜV Rheinland group, abroad.

TÜV Rheinland Italia is firmly convinced that with everyone's attention and collaboration it will be possible to get out of this difficult situation, returning to work even more together.
