Competence Sharing Through Various channels
At present, the export of medical supplies is facing problems such as rapid policy updates and large differences in overseas market access, and product quality disputes have gradually emerged. In order to help fight COVID-19, TÜV Rheinland medical experts were invited by Imp-Exp Executive Magazine and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangzhou Sub-council to present the testing and global market access requirement for medical products in webinars held at the end of March and in early April, respectively. Over 19,000 participants joined these 2 webinars.
Major Industrial Projects Continue
Since February, engineers from Industrial Service & Cybersecurity have been working at the forefront of production inspection all over the country, to ensure safety and security of production for our customers and their major projects, and to speed up the resumption of work.
Expanding Service Related to COVID-19
In the midst of the pandemic, demand for high-quality products from end-users and for testing services from enterprises have been increasing. TÜV Rheinland has continued to expand its service scope, and has newly launched CE certification for the eye protectors of PPE products, including spectacles, goggles, and face shields. On April 9, a webinar on this CE certification for PPE eye protectors was held, with a special online promotion. A special discount was offered to participants who placed an order during the webinar, presenting an attractive deal to clients.
Market Access Update Addressing Coronavirus Pandemic
Due to COVID-19, many countries and regions have required the suspension of business activities and work from home by employees, and are conducting border controls.
