TÜV Rheinland Provides JD.com Protective Equipment Qualification Audit Services Free of Charge
Richard Liu and his wife Nancy Zhang, along with JD.com, donated 5 million masks, 50 invasive ventilators, and more than 600,000 pieces of protective clothing, goggles, medical gloves, and other medical supplies to the UK, which is one of the worst-affected countries by COVID-19 in Europe and has a large number of Chinese and Chinese overseas students. TÜV Rheinland Greater China, as one of JD.com's important partners in the field of testing and certification, provided qualification audit services free of charge for the protective equipment, including the surgical masks, medical protective clothing, goggles, gloves, ventilators, etc., supporting JD.com to strictly control the safety and quality of the donated medical supplies. This ensured the supplies could be imported into the UK at the fastest speed.
ZAGG Receives TÜV Rheinland Retina Protection Factor China Mark
On April 23rd, TÜV Rheinland presented the Retina Protection Factor China Mark to ZAGG. The Mophie full-screen/3D full-screen anti-blue-light antimicrobial tempered film was tested for reduction of harmful blue light emitted by electronic display screens in the 415-455nm range. During the pandemic, the usage of electronic devices has greatly increased. By using certified film, the visual health of users can be protected while ensuring a good display effect. This was also the first certificate ceremony held since the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak.
Competence Sharing Through Various Channels
As the spread of the pandemic continues overseas, the demand for medical supplies continues to surge, bringing business opportunities for Chinese enterprises. In order to help these enterprises to attain better understanding of the different standards, performance requirements, and technical specifications and regulations for protective clothing, masks, forehead thermometers, etc., TÜV Rheinland has cooperated with market supervision authorities in Henan, Chongqing, and Yantai to present the testing and global market access requirements for medical products in webinars. A total of over 13,000 participants have joined these 3 webinars.
Together with our clients, we will overcome the difficulties!
