About us
TÜV Rheinland has operated in Singapore since 1989. Our work supports local industry with independent testing, certification, and technical expertise that strengthens safety and quality.
In 2006 we expanded our electrical laboratory to cover Household, IT, and audio video equipment testing to IEC and EN standards. In 2007 our certification unit gained accreditation from the Singapore Accreditation Council. In 2009 SPRING Singapore recognized us as a Conformity Assessment Body, allowing us to issue the Singapore Safety Mark for regulated goods.
In 2025 we added BC1 accreditation from the Singapore Accreditation Council. We also achieved ISO 17065 accreditation and SCDF acceptance for fire safety products.
Today our services in Singapore include Product Safety Testing and Certification, Management Systems Certification, Training, Coordinator for Design for Manufacturing services, and third party inspections for industrial projects. Each service supports safer workplaces, reliable products, and accountable progress in the market.
