A major breakthrough occurred in 2006 with the establishment of its ISO/IEC 17025-accredited Electrical Product Safety Testing laboratory, demonstrating its world-class technical competence and the accuracy of its testing activities. This achievement was further bolstered in 2007, when the Bureau of Philippine Standards (BPS) officially recognized TÜV Rheinland Philippines for its Electrical Product Safety Testing, cementing its reputation as a trusted authority in product compliance.

In 2013, TÜV Rheinland Philippines’ role was solidified with its designation by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and BPS to conduct the PS Mark Certification audit. This mandate elevated the company to one of the foremost entities for product conformity assessment and market surveillance in the Philippines. Expanding its pioneering work into workplace safety and professional development, TÜV Rheinland Philippines established its Academy and Life Care Services in 2014, with the goal of creating safe and healthier working environments. The company’s dedication to innovation was further reflected in 2018 with the introduction of the PersCert TÜV service. Most recently, in October 2022, the organization joined the global celebration of TÜV Rheinland Group’s 150th anniversary, reflecting its legacy of excellence, innovation, and service on a worldwide scale. Continuing this momentum, in 2025, TÜV Rheinland Philippines is set to transfer to a new location equipped with a larger, state-of-the-art testing laboratory, enabling it to meet increasing demands for electrical testing services and accommodate new business opportunities.

Today, TÜV Rheinland Philippines continues to deliver a wide range of services, including product safety testing and certifications for electrical appliances, food safety audits, ISO management systems certifications and cybersecurity solutions.
