Workshop
09/01/2021 Online

Overview

This 1-day workshop informs about the basic principles of the standard ISO/SAE 21434.

The Cyber-Security perspective in engineering of electrical and electronic (E/E) systems within road vehicles will be addressed. The workshop focuses on appropriate consideration of Cyber-Security requirements and aspects to enable engineering of E/E systems to keep up with changing technology and attack methods.

Specified requirements for Cyber-Security risk management for road vehicles, their components and interfaces relevant for all steps of the vehicle life cycle phases, engineering, production, operation, maintenance and decommissioning are considered.

The workshop provides an overview of the standard ISO/SAE 21434, explains relations, and interconnects to Cyber-Security, Functional Safety and other vehicle-specific functionalities.

Additionally, it supports decision makers in identifying personnel, which may need further and specific training.

(More details of the ISO/SAE 21434 will be presented in the training “Cyber-Security for Automotive acc. to ISO/SAE 21434” of the TÜV Rheinland Cyber Security Training Program.)
