Electric Vehicle High Voltage Safety Technician Level 1

This beginner course will help develop the skills and knowledge required to work safely on Electric & Hybrid …

Electric cars and hybrid vehicles are equipped with a so-called high-voltage system. Under unfavorable circumstances, this system can pose an electrical hazard - for example, if it is handled improperly or in the event of an accident. Anyone involved in this type of vehicle should be aware of these dangers and the importance of the corresponding safety precautions. This applies not only to repair and maintenance personnel, but also to employees in showrooms and people who come into contact with accident vehicles. With this course, these target groups will acquire the necessary knowledge to effectively protect themselves and third parties through responsible use of high-voltage technology. In thirteen training units, the course covers the entire spectrum of the problem: this ranges from the fundamentals of electrical engineering and basic knowledge of the electrical components of high-voltage vehicles to the corresponding safety equipment and the electrical hazards that they are intended to prevent. The training units are self-contained and can be individually combined according to previous knowledge. Each training unit includes an interactive quiz to monitor learning success.
