Why green product certification?
The central idea of the Green Product Mark is to identify safe and sustainable products. The mark can be applied to visual displays, peripherals, household appliances, leisure and sports equipment, furniture and other various consumer products covering all aspects of human life.
The Green Product Mark is based on four points:
- Responsible use of chemical substances.
- Waste management and the usage of recycled materials.
- Energy consumption and efficiency.
- Limitation of energy consumption and determination of the product carbon footprint.
TÜV Rheinland certifies the limited impact of an eco-friendly product on the environment and ensures the compliance of social and safety requirements with the Green Product Mark.
