TR Sweden is established at the test facility that was previously owned by Sony Mobile. This has given us a unique opportunity to combine an extensive experience, of more than 20 years, in testing Wireless short and long range technologies together with comprehensive testing experience of TÜV Rheinland.
Around 300 equipment, for electrical, electromagnetic and radio accredited tests, are available on an area of 800m2. The capabilities of this lab are distributed among seven individual labs. Customers can here witness the entire spectrum of Wireless/IoT testing options.
This applies for technologies such as Sigfox and LoRa as well as as Zigbee, 3GPP, Wlan, Bluetooth and eCall (assistance to motorists involved in a collision). In addition, the laboratory is equipped with EMC, OTA (antenna performance) chambers and SAR (Specific Absorption Rate - measuring the RF exposure characteristics) systems.
TÜV Rheinland Lund laboratory covers both short-range and long-range technologies and we offer EMC compliance testing services according to the EMC compatibility requirements of Europe, the United States, Canada, Japan and Australia.
EMC standards supported:

- Canada (ISED)
- Japan (VCCI)
TÜV Rheinland testing services are related to all common international EMC Guidelines and Directives.
Radio Testing:
- Regulatory conformance testing on almost all radio or wireless devices and systems
- Qualification testing according to different compliance programs, e.g. Zigbee, LoRa.
- Customized testing following manufacturer‘s specifications
- Interoperability testing against designated reference devices or test environments
- Coexistence investigation to ensure a disturbance free functionality of different radio applications
Simultaneously operated within the same frequency bands.
We are accreditation by SWEDAC (Swedish Board for Technical Accreditation) for electrical, electromagnetic and radio testing.
We can carry a wide range of testing of complex wireless and electronic products intended for placing on the global market.
