USA - Significant New Use Rules on Certain Chemical Substances (25-2.5e)
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is creating Significant New Use Rules (SNURs) under TSCA for certain chemical substances that were previously reviewed under Premanufacture Notices (PMNs) and are also subject to an EPA TSCA Order.
Anyone manufacturing, importing, or processing these substances for a designated significant new use must notify EPA at least 90 days before starting, and may not proceed until EPA completes its review and any required actions.
