USA - Safety Standard for Portable Hook-On Chairs

​The CPSC is updating the mandatory safety standard for portable hook-on chairs to align with the recently revised voluntary standard, ASTM F1235-25. This update is part of a required process under the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act to ensure federal regulations reflect the latest industry safety improvements. 

Consequently, the 2025 version of the ASTM specification will replace the previous 2018 version as the official federal requirement.
