Uruguay - Draft Ministerial Resolution for the Incorporation of LED Lamps into the National Energy Efficiency Labeling System

Recently the Uruguay Ministry of Economy and Finance notified WTO on a draft ministerial ​resolution incorporating LED lamps into the national energy efficiency labeling system, for which the modalities and terms of application of the labeling are defined, through the establishment of the applicable national technical standard, the technical definition of those LED lamps covered and/or excluded from the regulation and the dates on which energy efficiency labeling will be voluntary and mandatory respectively, among other aspects.
