Ukraine - Order No. 460 of March 2024 on Placing Plastic Kitchenware of Polyamide and of Melamine on the Market

​Recently the Ukraine Ministry of Health notified WTO an Order No.460 of March 18, 2024​ "On Approval of Special Requirements and Detailed Rules for Placing Plastic Kitchenware of Polyamide and of Melamine on the Market". 

The Order stipulates that products made of plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food, manufactured before the entry into force of this Order, may be placed on the market until their expiry date.

The proposed date of entry into force for this Order is on November 19, 2025 - simultaneously with the entry into force of the Law of Ukraine No.2718-IX "On Materials and Articles Intended to Come into Contact with Food" of November 3,  2022.
