UK - The Chemicals (Health and Safety) (Amendment, Consequential and Transitional Provision) Regulations 2026

​For the purposes of transparency, the United Kingdom is notifying Members to proposed changes to the 'Assimilated Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 as amended for Great Britain' (the Great Britain Classification, Labeling and Packaging Regulation or GB CLP Regulation). The proposed changes aim to streamline the process​ for arriving at decisions on the Great Britain mandatory classification and labeling (GB MCL) of hazardous chemical substances (Article ​37 process). There is no action for the stakeholders to take nor a change in what is evaluated​.
