Turkey - Labelling of All Export Goods from Turkey

​On December 4, 2021, a letter was published in the official gazette of Turkey to establish the claim ‘Made in Türkiye’ as a trademark. All goods without any classification, including textiles, shoes and leather goods for export to overseas need to be labelled with the phrase ‘Made in Türkiye’.

Terms in other languages, such as Turkey, Türkei or Turquie shall not be used anymore and be replaced by Türkiye. This is valid for goods that are manufactured in Turkey and that carry such a label. It is not mandatory to write the name of the country of origin, however if it is present on the product, the term Türkiye applies.
