Turkey - Communiqué on TS 224 Semichrommed Vachetta Leather

The purpose of this Communiqué is to identify issues related to the implementation of application of TS 224 (December 2017) ‘‘Leather Semichrommed Vachetta Leather – Specifications’’ standard.

​This standard covers the definition, classification and specifications, sampling, examination and tests and placing on the market of semichrommed vachetta leather.
Those who produce and sell products on the market within the scope of TS 224 (December 2017) ‘‘Leather – Semichrommed Vachetta Leather – Specifications’’ Standard shall be obliged to comply with the provisions of this Communiqué.

This Communiqué shall enter into force six months after its publication, and shall be enforced by the Minister of Industry and Technology.
