Transition Period for Press Standards Extended

​Transitional periods for the "old" press standards extended.
The European standards EN 692 and 693 are replaced by the standards of the EN ISO 16092-x series. The EN ISO 16092-3 standard for hydraulic presses is in force and the standards for mechanical and pneumatic presses are still in preparation.

In March 2019, the standards EN 962 and 963 were deleted from the list of harmonized standards. In November 2019, the transition period was again extended to 2021.
Currently, both the old and new press standards can be used for CE assessment. TÜV Rheinland will be happy to inform you about the technical differences and transition periods and test your presses according to old or new standards.
