The final compromise text of the future TSR

with a view to an agreement of the Proposal for a Regulation of the European

Parliament and of the Council on the safety of toys and repealing Directive

2009/48/EC, approved by COREPER on June 11, 2025.

Now more details about the probable release have become known.

In the next steps the Council and the European Parliament will approve the text.

The plenary vote in the EU Parliament is scheduled for October, and publication in the Official Journal is expected to take place in November.
