Thailand - Draft Notification on Determination of Vehicles and Electric Vehicles as Label-Controlled Product

​The draft notification prescribes vehicles and electric vehicles as label-controlled products in Thailand.

This draft notification applies to the following products:
1.Vehicles, which means a private passenger vehicle or private truck powered by an engine, which has not yet been registered under the Vehicle Act.
2.Electric vehicles, which means a private passenger vehicle or private truck propelled by electricity or a combination of an engine and an electric motor, which has not yet been registered under the Vehicle Act.
The label of label-controlled products shall specify the text, pictures, artificial designs, or image as appropriate which shall not cause misunderstandings about the essence of the products and shall be displayed clearly visible and legible in Thai language or a foreign language accompanied by Thai language.
