Taiwan - Revision on Energy Efficiency Standards for Refrigerators

​In response to the international trend of energy conservation and carbon reduction, the permissible energy consumption standards and energy efficiency rating standards for refrigerators have been revised to guide the gradual improvement of refrigerator energy efficiency, effective January 1, 2027. 

To further promote energy efficiency improvements in refrigerators, in accordance with the Energy Efficiency Bulletin, Section 5.10 of CNS 2062 will be subject to the revised energy efficiency regulations starting January 1, 2027, and refrigerator product type approval and verification registration will be conducted from the date of issuance of this interpretation order.​
