Taiwan - Proposal to Regulate 269 PFAS Substances

​A draft regulation is published by Taiwan’s Ministry of Environment on August 5, 2025, to designate 269 Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) as concerned chemical substances.​​​

The draft is undergoing public consultation for a period of 60 days and comments may be submitted by October 4, 2025. The official regulation is planned to take effect on January 1, 2026.​
