Taiwan - Announcement No.11204724200 on Disposable Button Cell

​The Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs recently issued a notice No.11204724200 on disposable button cell batteries. Disposable button-type batteries are time-sensitive components and consumables. They shall be regulated by labeling standards for electrical and electronic products, and marked with the year, month or week of manufacture, and the effective date or validity period. This shall become effective from September 1, 2025.
