South Korea - Revisions to National Standards in the Information and Communications Sector

​The National Radio Research Agency (RRA) has announced revisions to six national standards in the information and communications sector, following the deliberation of the Industrial Standards Council. These revisions aim to align with the Administrative Standard Code Management System of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the National Data Office, as well as to reflect technological advancements in unmanned information terminals.

KS X 1501: Academic qualification codes.

KS X 1502: Occupational classification codes.

KS X 1507: Family relationship codes.

KS X 5001-11: Information technology – Software accessibility design guidelines – Part 11: Accessibility settings for computer systems.

KS X 9211: Accessibility guidelines for unmanned information terminals.

KS X ISO/IEC 27002: Information security, cybersecurity, and privacy protection – Information security controls.
