South Korea - Revised Safety Standards for Swim Goggles

​The Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS) announced amendments to the safety standards for swim goggles under the Electrical Appliances and Household Goods Safety Control Act.

These changes aim to address operational shortcomings by replacing outdated standards with updated, applicable ones to ensure continued safety and compliance. 

This revision strengthens the regulatory framework, ensuring that swim goggles meet modern safety and performance requirements.
