South Korea - Notice of Legislative Preliminary Proposal for Partial Amendment to the Enforcement Decree of the Energy Utilization Rationalization Act

The amendment to the "Enforcement Rules of the Energy Use Rationalization Act" aims to enhance administrative efficiency by reorganizing the classification of products subject to standby power reduction, standby power warning labels, and high-efficiency energy equipment certification into a comprehensive upper classification system. 

Detailed specifications for these products will be delegated to the Ministry of Climate, Energy, and Environment for notification. 

Key changes include revising and simplifying related provisions (Articles 13, 14, and 20) and updating annexes to align with the overarching law.
