South Korea - MFDS Notice No. 2026-008 Administrative Notice of Partial Revision of the "Standards and Specifications for Devices, Containers, and Packaging"

​The proposed amendment to the "Standards and Specifications for Utensils, Containers, and Packaging" introduces new standards and specifications for rubber products used by infants and young children. 

The purpose of this amendment is to enhance the safety of infants by establishing specific standards for rubber products that are similar in shape and usage to rubber nipples, ensuring they are managed separately. 

The new regulation applies the same standards and specifications as rubber nipples to these infant rubber products.
