South Korea - Draft Amendment to the Operational Guidelines for Safety Management of Electrical Appliances and Consumer Products

​The Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS) has issued a draft amendment (Notice No. 2026-143) to the Operational Guidelines for Safety Management of Electrical Appliances and Consumer Products for public feedback. 

Key changes include updated screen diagonal length criteria for tablet PCs in Annex 2 and revised self-testing items for secondary battery cells in Annex 19.​
