South Korea - Amended Safety Standards for Secondary lithium cells (KC 62133 standard)

K​orean Agency for Technology and Standards(KATS) annouce the KC 62133(Secondary cells and batteries containing alkaline or other non-acid electrolytes - Safety requirements for portable sealed secondary lithium cells, and for batteries made from them, for use in portable applications) standard ammendment for newly include in safety standards the calculation method for energy density to safety standards in order to clarify the measurements for the energy density of cells used in mobile phones, tablet PCs, laptops and others on KATS Public Notice No. 2018-0325.
