South Korea - Administrative Notice on the Draft Amendment to the "Safety Management Guidelines for Electrical Appliances and Consumer Goods"

​This amendment is intended to align with the revised safety standards for "sports helmets," which will take effect on February 2, 2026.

The main revisions include supplementing the classification criteria for different models of "mountaineering helmets" and "ski helmets" in accordance with the safety standards, as well as clarifying the classification of "baseball helmets".

These changes reflect the model classification criteria (type, material, shape) specified in Annex 2 of the "Enforcement Rules of the Electrical Appliances and Consumer Products Safety Control Act."​
