South Africa - Pre-Export Verification of Conformity (PVoC) for Specific Unregulated Products

​South Africa New Scheme - Pre-Export Verification of Conformity Program (PVoC) is launched as Government Gazette No. 54374 published on March 20, 2026.

It requires that specified unregulated products imported into South Africa from designated countries be accompanied by a Certificate of Conformity confirming compliance with applicable South African National Standards (SANS). Mandatory enforcement begins September 20, 2026. Phase 1 applies to imports from the People's Republic of China.

It applies specifically to products that do not fall under compulsory specifications enforced by the National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications (NRCS).​​
