Singapore - MoC on Mutual Recognition of Internet-of-Things Cybersecurity Schemes Signed with Japan

​Singapore CSA and Japan METI Mutually Recognize IoT Cybersecurity Schemes.

The Cyber Security Agency (CSA) of Singapore issued a press release on March 18, 2026, announcing that CSA and the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry (METI) in Japan have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) to mutually recognize IoT cybersecurity labeling schemes CLS and JC-STAR. This MoC will take effect starting June 1, 2026.​​
