Saudi Arabia - Update Implementation Plan of SASO IEC 62368-1:2020

​Saudi Standards and Quality Organization (SASO) notified to WTO on July 8, regarding the implementation of the standard SASO IEC 62368-1:2020 :
1- The new date to enforce the standard SASO IEC 62368-1:2020 will be 01/01/2023 instead of 07/01/2021.
2- The test report as per SASO IEC 62368-1:2017 AS (IEC 62368-1:2014) will be accepted until the date of 12/31/2022.

The manufacturers and suppliers are requested to apply the above mentioned standards for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) equipment and take into consideration that SASO GSO IEC 60950-1 and SASO IEC 60065 will no longer be applied or used starting from July 1, 2021.
