Saudi Arabia - Proposed Energy Efficiency Standard for Electronic Display

​The Proposed addendum to the technical Regulation for Energy Efficiency (05-03-16-156), is limited to Annex (1). The addendum consists of an addition of a new standard titled "Electronic Displays – Energy Performance, Testing and Labeling Requirements."

Proposed date of entry into force of the new standard: July 1, 2027.
This standard specifies the minimum energy performance requirements for electronic displays.
It shall apply to appliances that operate in AC single-phase circuits of 230V with a frequency of 60 Hz according to SASO GSO 1899, standardized DC input and battery operated.​
